As the hurricanes have moved out, heavy equipment begins to move in to begin rebuilding neighborhoods and businesses. Cleanup is occurring in Texas, Florida, the Carolinas and the islands, as Harvey, Irma and Jose move on. More hurricanes are in line to follow.

The dilemma becomes moving heavy equipment into flooded areas for the heavy-duty cleanup phase. Trees, boats, and cars are strewn around neighborhood yards. Only heavy equipment can remove such obstacles. As the name suggests, these vehicles will sink in the mud and, they themselves, will become just another obstacle.

When a hurricane or tornado has passed, recovery and cleanup operations must begin; and they must begin quickly. Just because the inclement weather has cleared out of the area, the need for safety has not gone away.

Residents that evacuated want to return to see what damage has occurred to their personal property. This is understandable. However, debris is strewn everywhere. Accidents are likely to occur in this scenario.

The hurricane season has just begun and it has come at us with tremendous force. Accompanying the hurricanes are violent tornadoes that form further inland, as the hurricane becomes an inland storm. The impact is felt over many miles.
